Violet Wang is an Taiwanese multi-disciplinary performer, music director, and

educator. Classically trained in cello and piano, she dedicates herself to reaching

beyond the traditional and committing to the creation of art in all genres.

She is currently on faculty as a Pianist and Music Director at Circle in the Square

Theatre School, where she recently music directed (piano-conducted) Something

Rotten, Urinetown and A Little Night Music. She has also held pianist positions at the

Jen Waldman Studio, NYU Tisch (New Studio on Broadway), Barnard College, and

IAMT (Institute for American Musical Theatre).
